Group Consultations
Group Consultations for patients this autumn
At the practices across the Primary Care Network, we are planning to introduce Group Consultations for patients this autumn.
A group consultation is a face-to-face appointment to discuss with a clinician alongside others with a similar condition. The Clinic is likely to last between 60 to 90 minutes, so you would be spending longer with the clinician. Experience from other parts of the country show that patients tend to get far more out of it than answers to their initial concerns.
To start with we plan to deliver these sessions relating to:
- Menopause
- Statins
For each of the above patients will be invited by their surgery to take part.
